We are inviting you to view and comment on the recovery masterplan and vision for the town centre
The masterplan has been commissioned for the town centre by Carmarthenshire County Council in response to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The masterplan reviews existing regeneration activity and provides a fresh focus on the priorities and the strategy for recovery and future growth.
Why do we need a Recovery Masterplan?

The impacts of COVID-19 are huge, unprecedented and continue to cloud the economic outlook. The effects on the town centre have been driven by several inter-related shocks including forced closures, social distancing, accelerated online shopping and structural changes and closure of some major national retailers.

The recovery masterplan provides the supporting evidence and identifies the range of opportunities that future town centre funds and resources could help to deliver in partnership with local businesses and stakeholders.

Where can I see the masterplan and make comments?

There is also an online meeting taking place on 1st December at 6.30pm with an opportunity to give your feedback and ask questions. Join the meeting using this link.
